I’ve got a bit of free time at work this week so I’ve been working on some renders for one of my bungalow projects.
But some of my initial renders seem a bit rigid. Trying to work with some post processing techniques. Here are two
of the renders I’ve done.:
I think I have a landed a pretty challenging design project. My bos wants me to use as a precedent study or reference the Minas Tirith tower from Lord of the Rings. It is exciting because purely conceptual design opens the way for any kind of design. So let’s see how it goes!
I managed to get a topography of my new site. I modelled it in Sketchup using sandbox. It was pretty easy once I had my survey plan. Then I used the plugin Simple Contours which was amazing as it lightened my file so much.
Sketchup terrain view.
I’ve looked for several views of the Minas Tower for reference. Just got them from the web. Google search. 🙂
I do love this final image. The balance is amazing. Will definitely try to incorporate this as part of my design!
